Vanessa García is a Spanish pianist noted for her extraordinary qualities as an accompanist. Her musical abilities were discovered at
an early age and she has also studied singing, chamber music and
choral conducting.
A member of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino academy for the development of pianists and singers in
Italy she has accompanied many renowned singers including Irene
Theorin, Dolora Zajick, Pretty Yende, Nadine Sierra, Lisette Oropesa,
Angela Gheorghiu, Carlos Alvarez, Roberto Alagna, Jonas Kaufmann,
Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and worked with directors including
Gustavo Dudamel, Sebastian Weigle, Marco Armigliato, Josep Pons,
Gustavo Gimeo and Nello Santi.
Vanessa García has also appeared as a
soloist at the Palau de la Musica and the orchestra of the Gran Teatre
del Liceu in Barcelona, where she is currently working as a vocal
coach and repetiteur.
