Since graduating from the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris (CNSMD) and winning the Concours International de Chant de Toulouse, Till Fechner has enjoyed a career singing on the principal stages of France and Europe.

He made his debut at the Paris National Opera in 1994 and his repertoire includes operas by Rossini and Mozart which he has made his speciality. They include Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims, L’Italiana in Algeri and La Cenerentola and Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Cosi fan tutte.

He has also performed music by Vivaldi, Donizetti, Verdi, Weber, Beethoven, Offenbach, Massenet, Kurt Weill and Viktor Ullmann under the direction of conductors including Claudio Abbado, Michel Plasson, Wladimir Jurowsky, Seiji Ozawa and Jean-Claude Malgoire.

Recently he appeared in Alban Berg's Wozzeck at the Marseille Opera and in Jean-Michel Ribes politico-musical René l’Enervé at the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris. This season he sang in La Traviata at the Brussels Opéra Royal de La Monnaie, Karol Beffa's Equinoxe on tour in Mexico and Rameau's Hyppolyte et Aricie at the Budapest State Opera.
