Multi-talented Swiss soprano Brigitte Hool began her international career at La Scala Milan followed by performances at l’Opéra Comique in Paris, the Capitole Toulouse and then Lyon, Lausanne, Marseille, Bordeaux and Avenches among other houses.
Most recently she sang the title role in Verdi's Aïda in Bratislava. She studied cello and voice at the Conservatoire Neuchâtel where she directed the university choir.
She also graduated in journalism and yoga teaching and was awarded the Grand Prix Trofemina in Paris for her management roles.
Her first novel Puccini l’aimait has met with great success; she writes about music experienced from within and the relationship between love and artistic inspiration.
